Job summary

Ascension is seeking an editor to proofread content at various stages of production, ensuring accuracy, style, and alignment with our mission.

You will perform developmental editing, review materials for brand consistency and theological accuracy, and support editorial quality for Alto and related apps and communications.

Job description

• Proofreading content at various stages of production
• Ensuring all content is accurate and complete, adheres to Ascension’s house style (as appropriate), and aligns with our mission
• Developmental editing of content to ensure flow, quality, and tone
• Reviewing materials for style, tone, brand consistency, and theological accuracy and completeness
• Performing additional editorial work, including research, responding to editorial inquiries, processing imprimatur reviews, and editorial reviews of marketing materials
• Supporting the editorial quality and integrity of Alto and related app and communications content
