Our client, a top-tier legal discovery and managed services provider, is currently seeking a talented eDiscovery Project Manager, Government with hands-on Relativity and FOIA experience. As the client-facing primary point of contact for assigned matters, the Project Manager will oversee engagements from initial setup through completion, ensuring client needs are met and delivering a high level of service. This individual will manage matter design and workflows, coordinate internal and external resources, oversee the movement of client data through each phase of the discovery lifecycle, and ensure deadlines and project requirements are met. Candidates must have strong eDiscovery project management experience, proficiency with Relativity, and direct experience supporting FOIA matters and related workflows. Core Responsibilities
- Onboard, oversee, and manage multiple client matters
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned case teams
- Partner with clients to establish projects, including pricing estimates, turnaround expectations, and project specifications
- Monitor multiple active projects across departments to ensure milestones and deadlines are met, coordinating with production teams to appropriately allocate resources
- Serve as the liaison between clients, production teams, and internal stakeholders, providing regular status updates and resolving project-related issues
- Support FOIA matters and workflows, including coordinating document collection, processing, review, production, and delivery requirements
- Maintain sufficient case documentation and status information to allow other Project Managers to provide coverage when needed
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including job orders, authorizations, client profiles, tracking logs, matter status summaries, and delivery information
- Apply established case management methodologies to guide matters from initial intake through final resolution
Project Tracking & Delivery
- Maintain required project and billing tracking information and ensure departments update records in a timely manner
- Manage project schedules, including production deadlines, review milestones, and data delivery dates
- Track data and documentation received from and transferred to clients throughout each project
- Coordinate the onboarding, ongoing management, and completion of multiple matters
- Identify and elevate issues raised by Project Coordinators or other internal teams when appropriate
- Assist Department Directors, Client Directors, and Project Coordinators with gathering information and background for reporting purposes
- Track FOIA-related deadlines, productions, and matter requirements to support timely and defensible responses
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience; JD preferred
- eDiscovery industry experience, preferably in a Project Manager capacity
- Hands-on experience supporting FOIA matters and related document review or production workflows
- Strong hands-on Relativity experience
- Working knowledge of eDiscovery operations, including document imaging, printing, coding, processing, and electronic data workflows
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and appropriately prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
- Excellent client service and relationship management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) preferred
Additional Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms, applications, and technologies, including Relativity, Concordance, and similar tools
- Experience with hosted review environments such as Relativity, Clearwell, Catalyst, or comparable platforms
- Knowledge of Windows applications, operating environments, and basic networking concepts
- Prior management experience, including developing project budgets, workflows, and delivery strategies
Expected salary for this exempt role is up to $135,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
