Job summary

Unknown is seeking an entry-level eDiscovery Processing Technician to assist with data intake, processing, and organization of digital evidence. You will work with Processing Engineers to ensure datasets are structured, secure, and ready for attorney review while gaining foundational experience in legal technology and the digital forensics lifecycle.

You will support data loading, filtering, de-duplication, and file extraction workflows, and help maintain documentation and status reports for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Legal Studies, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables; ability to learn complex database software.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach; able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Securely receive, validate, and load electronic data into eDiscovery platforms with chain-of-custody.
• Perform data filtering, deduplication, and file extraction workflows under guidance.
• Organize document folder structures and configure review indexes to support attorney review workflows.
• Validate document sets for formatting, metadata integrity, and completeness before release to the review team.
• Maintain project trackers, case logs, and recurring status reports for stakeholders.
