Job summary

East Coast Cannabis in Eliot, Maine is seeking an Edibles Production Specialist to join our Kitchen Team. We offer hands-on training and a clear path for long-term growth in Maine's cannabis manufacturing sector.

Starting wages are $17.00 per hour, with higher wages possible for candidates with cannabis edibles or food production experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial kitchens, bakery, confectionery, food manufacturing, or cannabis edibles is a plus.
• Willing to learn; training provided for the right candidate.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain Maine OCP IIC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and produce cannabis edible products following established recipes, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Accurately measure, weigh, and portion ingredients to ensure product consistency and compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Maine Adult Use Cannabis Program regulations.
• Assist with inventory organization, ingredient tracking, and production preparation.
• Work closely with the Kitchen Manager and team members to maintain an efficient production schedule.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Maine OCP IIC.

Compensation

• Starting at $17.00 per hour
• Higher starting wages may be available for candidates with previous cannabis edibles manufacturing or commercial food production experience, based on qualifications and experience.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, cook, and produce cannabis edible products following established recipes, SOPs, and quality standards.
