Job summary

El Paso Health is seeking an EDI Analyst to analyze requirements, test, and process EDI transactions within the EPH Information Systems department. You will handle day-to-day EDI operations, ensuring HIPAA compliance and adherence to JIP specifications.

Collaborating with the Director of Information Systems and the EDI team, you will implement HIPAA transaction sets and support various interface projects of varying complexity, contributing to on-schedule delivery and contract satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in managed care applications, including SQL, DTS packages, stored procedures, Windows platforms, Visual Basic, and Access.
• Experience with batch interface files and HIPAA transaction code sets.
• Proficiency with EDI interface engines to troubleshoot, develop, and process files.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, test, and process EDI transactions.
• Perform day-to-day EDI operations to meet contractual and HIPAA needs.
• Collaborate with the Director of Information Systems and the EDI team to complete interface tasks on schedule.
• Assist with HIPAA transaction set implementations and JIP interfaces.
