Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Springdale, OH seeks an experienced EDI Integrations Developer to design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions that enable seamless data exchange across the supply chain. You will work within Smithfield's EDI landscape, supporting IBM SCBN, and collaborating with integrations teams to deliver reliable, scalable integrations.

The role requires hands-on EDI and integration experience (Boomi, GoAnywhere, EDI-X12, SAP IDOC) with knowledge of SAP SD/MM, and a solid IT design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with 2+ years' experience.
• Hands-on experience with EDI and integration systems (Boothi, GoAnywhere, EDI-X12, SAP IDOC).
• Understanding of SAP SD/MM, EDI outputs, and IDOCs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, troubleshooting, and development for EDI integrations within IBM SCBN.
• Translate business requirements into detailed integration designs with support from engineers.
• Collaborate across teams to align deliveries with business needs.
• Contribute to legacy transformation and ensure security/compliance across solutions.
• Support middleware resources and participate in future integration initiatives.
