Job summary

Buchanan Hauling & Rigging, Inc. is seeking an EDI Developer to enhance data connections, ensure accurate data exchange, and support EDI templates for customers and partners in a fast-paced, logistics environment.

You will work closely with IT and operations to troubleshoot issues, implement mappings, and validate data using SQL, helping keep our transportation processes efficient and reliable.

Qualifications

• Experience with EDI transactions, mapping, and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain EDI templates per customer specs.
• Establish and support EDI connections with partners.
• Troubleshoot EDI errors and identify root causes.
• Use SQL to validate data and EDI configurations.
• Test EDI transactions to ensure accurate transmission.
• Maintain documentation of EDI setups and changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
