Job summary

ProTrans is seeking an EDI Business Analyst to ensure efficient EDI data exchange across customers, carriers, and suppliers. You will configure and maintain EDI within a proprietary TMS, interfacing with Microsoft Logic Apps to support data flows, invoicing, and financial processes.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams, develop test cases, and maintain documentation while ensuring data integrity and compliance with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in a Business or Technical Analyst role.
• 0–2 years of experience with EDI ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• 0–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Exposure to Logic Apps, Mulesoft, and related integration platforms.
• Familiarity with FTP, SFTP, AS2, and VAN protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented with excellent time-management.
• Basic understanding of SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• EDI Configuration & Maintenance: configure EDI transactions and integrate with Logic Apps.
• Operational Support: process and troubleshoot EDI transactions related to operations, invoicing, and finance.
• Testing & Validation: participate in end-to-end testing with business users and partners.
• Documentation & Process Management: maintain EDI procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration & Communication: provide updates to stakeholders and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• System Maintenance & Optimization: monitor and optimize EDI integrations; provide Tier 1 support.
• Compliance & Standards: ensure EDI transactions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
