Job summary

Axiom-Path in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Transportation Systems Business Analyst to support a large TMS transformation, EDI integrations, and API/file-based data exchanges across ERP, carriers, and shippers.

You will partner with business stakeholders, IT delivery teams, vendors, and project leadership to clarify needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and support UAT and deployment readiness through hypercare and training.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of business analysis and IT delivery experience in TMS or logistics.
• Strong ability to translate business workflows into technical requirements.
• Experience with EDI-heavy or integration projects involving TMS, ERP, customers, carriers, trading partners, and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Support a large TMS transformation focused on EDI integrations, API/file-based data exchanges, and production readiness.
• Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, architects, QA, and project leadership to clarify needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Move from current-state mapping to future-state design, integration mapping, testing preparation, and deployment readiness.
• Analyze and document transportation workflows across order creation, routing, dispatch, load tendering, shipment tracking, billing, and reporting.
• Support EDI-heavy integration work involving customer, carrier, shipper, ERP, financial, and partner system data flows.
• Define and refine business and functional requirements, data mappings, interface specs, message flows, and risk/issues.
• Work with technical teams to clarify field-level requirements, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and validation needs.
• Support UAT planning and execution by defining use cases, tracing issues, and coordinating retesting.
• Participate in training and system learning activities to support deployment readiness and production support.
