Job summary

Kao USA, Inc. is seeking a Developer, Data and Integration in the Cincinnati area to maintain and scale our enterprise integration landscape, focusing on B2B/EDI transactions and partner onboarding.

You will work across SDLC from analysis to deployment and may assume project management responsibilities. You will design and implement integration workflows with Informatica IICS/IDMC, collaborate with supply chain, sales, and finance teams, and ensure data quality, mapping, and reliable data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer/Data Science or Business.
• 5+ years of B2B/EDI experience developing workflows and data mapping.
• Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS) in consumer products or supply-chain context.
• Experience with EDI transactions for Retail/Supply Chain (e.g., X12 850, 855, 856, 810, 824, 864 and EDIFACT equivalents).
• Familiarity with data transport using AS2, X.400, and EDI VAN.

• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to evolution of integration and data platforms.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Architect, the Developer, Data and Integration will be responsible for maintaining the stability, scalability, and reliability of our enterprise integration landscape, particularly for B2B and EDI transactions that directly support revenue, supply chain operations, and financial processing.

We offer healthcare, 401(k) plus company match, 36 total days off (vacation + holidays + sick), and a reasonable salary range of $95,000–$110,000. A hybrid work schedule is available; the position requires residence in the Cincinnati area or willingness to relocate.

What you will do

• Design, develop, document, and manage scalable integration solutions for B2B/EDI transactions (e.g., X12 850, 810, 856 and EDIFACT) and partner onboardings, covering end‑to‑end SDLC functions from analysis to deployment and hyper‑care; may include project‑management responsibilities such as scope, schedule, and status.
• Develop and maintain application and data integration platform workflows using Informatica Integration Cloud Solutions (IICS) and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), focusing initially on B2B/EDI flows and also covering Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and Cloud Data Integration and Replication (CDIR). Support data quality, transformation, and mapping across systems.
• Collaborate with business units—supply chain, sales, finance—and internal and external teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions, using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration jobs and data flows to ensure reliability and performance; document integration processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the evolution of our integration and data platforms.

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience (Computer/Data Science or Business Related).
• 5+ years of B2B/EDI experience developing workflows and data mapping—especially within Cloud+SaaS.
• Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS) in consumer products or supply‑chain context.
• Experience with EDI transactions for Retail/Supply Chain (e.g., X12 850, 855, 856, 810, 824, 864 and EDIFACT equivalents).
• Familiarity with data transport for integration—using standards such as AS2, X.400, and EDI VAN.
• Experience testing EDI solutions with partners or 3rd parties such as SPS, EDIComm.
• Understanding of standard business processes associated with EDI flows, such as Order → Confirmation → Fulfillment → Invoice → Payment.
• Experience with SAP and IDOCs in conjunction with integration solutions.
• Experience with Informatica integration and data platforms (IICS and/or IDMC), including modules such as B2B, CAI, CDI, and CDIR.
• Experience in designing/performing large‑scale testing for new processes and regression.
• Experience with EDI for 3PL, Logistics and Transportation (e.g., X12 940, 943, 944, 945, 211, 214 and EDIFACT equivalents).
