Job summary

Inmar is seeking an EDI Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain data management systems supporting Axway-based EDI processes. You will work within a team, receiving guidance from senior EDI engineers, and contribute to secure, automated, and reliable data services.

Responsibilities include end-to-end EDI lifecycle support and problem resolution. The role requires a BS in CS or related field and 3+ years of Axway experience, with a focus on mapping, testing, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field is required.
• 3+ years of work experience with Axway applications is required.
• Axway mapping tools experience is required.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training/certification in software/hardware/technology is acceptable.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis of basic issues.
• Ability to modify existing processes.
• Understanding of database performance and backup/recovery fundamentals.
• Understanding of disaster recovery protocols.
• Understanding of EDI Platform and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong understanding of change management policies and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Axway mapping, map development, updating and testing.
• Full life cycle support of assigned EDI and processes.
• Investigate problems in systems, processes and services.
• Contribute to implementation of remedies and preventative measures.
• Execute test scripts under supervision.
• Apply information security controls to mitigate threats.
• Translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with policies and standards.
