EDI Analyst

Remote

Our client is looking for an EDI Analyst that will be responsible for the successful intake of retail orders through EDI. This role will be part of the IS team and will work with the EDI Specialist and collaborate with the Customer Service team. Successful individuals will have natural curiosity and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

1. Gather and analyze EDI requirements.
2. Create technical specifications and documentation of EDI processes and customer requirements; participate in analysis and technical design reviews.
3. Develop/implement EDI mappings in compliance with customer requirements.
4. Interface with customer contacts and 3rd party platform providers to address design issues, secure requirements, and coordinate testing.
5. Provide daily support for EDI interfaces to/from JD Edwards Enterprise One.
6. Support continuous improvement in the EDI domain to minimize errors and manual processing.
7. Additional duties as assigned.

Skill Set

1. 2+ years working with Open Text TrustedLink I-series translation software or similar mapping tool.
2. 2+ years of experience working on an IBM AS400 platform.
3. 2+ years of experience working with EDI in a manufacturing direct to retail environment.
4. Experience with the following EDI transaction sets: 810, 812, 820, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, and 864.
5. Knowledge of the following EDI formats: ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML.

Preferred Skill Sets

1. Strong understanding of JD Edward’s EnterpriseOne ERP environment.
2. Knowledge of the Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and EDI systems.
3. 1+ year of experience with the following communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTP.
4. Trailblazer and Go Anywhere experience is a plus.
5. Experience working with the following 3rd party EDI platforms is preferred: Rithum (formerly Commerce Hub and DSCO), SPS Commerce, Logicbroker, and ECGRID.
