Position Summary:

The EDI Analyst identifies, coordinates, and resolves transmission and rejection errors for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) billed customers, vendors, and Third-Party Logistics providers. The primary responsibility of the role will be to analyze EDI traffic, identify root causes of transmission failures and transaction rejections, and work with various internal departments, third parties, and customers to resolve errors. The EDI Analyst serves as the primary link between the business (i.e., cross-functional areas not limited to Sales, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Procurement) and all data-trading partners. Ability to quickly identify errors and coordinate resolution in a timely manner.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Analyze, identify, coordinate, and resolve EDI transmissions and rejection issues and errors. Provide support for all customer EDI-related issues and errors, including auditing and resolving issues on various third-party portals. Evaluate customer contractual requirements to propose and implement process improvements and measurements.
2. Work with business partners and PMO to prioritize the onboarding of new trading partners.
3. Actively monitor EDI transaction flow through post-implementations, identify challenges, and work with the appropriate internal, third-party, and/or customer IT and E-Commerce departments to correct issues timely and accurately.
4. Perform special projects to identify root causes, policies, or procedures, along with recommendations to enhance and/or improve. Work with process owners, management, and customers to develop solutions and correct inefficiencies.

Experience & Skills:

1. 1-3 years of experience in related fields is preferred.
2. Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
3. Experience with SAP preferred.
4. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply that learning to core business application support.
5. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Education:

1. BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.

Work Environment:

1. Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
2. Work conditions are typical of an office environment.
3. This role does not require any domestic travel.
4. Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds.
5. Position may require frequent and/or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use of hands or fingers, talking, hearing, feeling objects, tools, controls, and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
