Removing old mulch as needed and installing new mulch.
- Removing old mulch in gardens, if needed, using a rake and wheelbarrow.
- Loading old mulch onto a trailer for disposal.
- Installing new mulch from a trailer using a pitchfork and wheelbarrow, or installing bags of mulch.
- Spreading mulch evenly on garden surfaces and around plants.
- Tamping down mulch edges on steep slopes to prevent mulch spillover.
- Use blower for sidewalk and driveway clean up.
- Assist with disposal of old mulch at dump site.
- Submitting timesheets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a United States Social Security Number, a State Issued photo ID and be a citizen of the United States or have an unexpired Green card.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must have attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must have the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Mulching experience not required but must WANT to learn!
- Must be able to tolerate working in an outside environment, temperature fluctuations, working in dirt and mulch, and everything that comes with gardening!
- Must have the ability to handle a wheelbarrow, pitchfork, blower and stand in a trailer while pitching mulch.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, twist, bend, toss, walk distances, and lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to load debris into a trailer using a wheelbarrow.
