Job summary

Advanced Mulch, a Benchmark Company, is hiring a CDL driver (Class A or B) for our mulch installation division. Using late model mulch trucks, our crews install mulch directly into required areas on shopping centers, apartment complexes, and HOAs.

We are seeking applicants who love the outdoors and have landscaping experience. Requirements include a valid CDL, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL (Class A or B).
• Must be able to work outdoors and handle physical tasks.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install mulch into landscape beds using mulch installation trucks.
• Move and position the blower truck between loading locations and job sites.
• Load, reload and unload truck materials; handle 2–3 truckloads per day.
• Submit to random DOT drug screenings and maintain safety standards.
• Communicate with clients professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and pre-/post-trip checks.
• Take constructive feedback from Supervisors and address hazards proactively.
• Operate the blower truck remotely when needed and manage time effectively.
• Maintain exceptional attendance and reliability; base pay plus weekly bonus.

Advanced Mulch, A Benchmark Company, is looking to expand its staff by hiring a CDL driver (Class A or B) for our mulch installation division. We are seeking motivated individuals who possess leadership traits. Using our late model mulch installation trucks, our crews install mulch directly into the required areas on shopping centers, apartment complexes, and HOAs. We are looking for applicants that have a love of the outdoors and possess some landscaping experience.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid class A or B CDL
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to consistently pull 50 lbs. (125ft) hose and lift 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and detail oriented
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• This position requires travel to meet client requirements in various regions

Responsibilities

• Install bark and other mulches into landscape bed areas on various properties.
• Move the blower truck safely between loading locations and job sites.
• Loading/Re-loading/Unloading of truck material.
• Responsible for 2-3 truckloads per day.
• Must submit to and pass random DOT drug screenings.
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner to ensure client satisfaction.
• Perform precise clean-up of bark installation using leaf blower as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and ongoing performance and reliability of truck, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting of repairs as needed.
• Ability to take constructive feedback from Supervisors.
• Proactively look for potential hazards, problems and overall safety as well as taking corrective action.
• Operate the blower truck using a remote to ensure safe operation.
• Manage time wisely and work independently as well as part of a team.
