Job summary

Rivet is seeking a software engineering intern for Summer 2027 in San Jose, CA. You’ll contribute to edge software written in C++ and C#, working with perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, and edge ML as part of a hardware-integrated system.

Join a mission-driven team and gain hands-on experience building real products, collaborating with software and hardware engineers, and testing on real hardware with a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming experience in C++ and C#, or another lower‑level language.
• Interest in perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, or edge ML.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug C++ and C# software for edge and hardware-integrated systems.
• Contribute to perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, or edge ML projects.
• Build and evaluate software on real hardware, diagnose issues, and improve performance.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to bring features from development to testing and deployment.
