Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
• Proficiency using The EDGE estimating software is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Experience interpreting blueprints, specs, drawings, and bid documents.

Responsibilities

• Use The EDGE to perform detailed takeoffs, quantify materials and labor, and develop accurate estimates.
• Review blueprints, specs, bid documents, and drawings to define project scope.
• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, overhead and other costs.
• Estimate a mix of new construction, re-roofing, replacement, restoration, and coating projects.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and project requirements.
• Manage multiple bids and meet estimating deadlines.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Use historical data to improve estimating accuracy and profitability.
• Prepare proposals, budgets and cost comparisons.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Project Management.
