Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking engineers to join the Workers Deploy & Config team, building large-scale systems that let developers deploy, configure, and manage Workers globally. You will work on distributed systems, high-traffic APIs, and developer experience, contributing to services like Pages and R2.

The role involves ownership of features from design through release, collaboration with product teams, and mentoring junior engineers. Strong Go experience and knowledge of observability are important.

Qualifications

• Production Go experience required.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with metrics/observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features and services within the Workers control plane.
• Improve platform performance, availability, and scalability.
• Design resilient storage schemas and I/O patterns for long-term growth.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions for foundational capabilities.
• Own production reliability, including on-call rotation.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate problems into scalable solutions.
• Drive projects independently from requirements to release.
