Job summary

Mollie in Europe is looking for a Platform Engineer to own and operate critical infrastructure that powers every transaction for our 250,000+ merchants. You’ll sit in the Edge & Networking team and shape the gateway to the world, balancing reliability, security and performance at scale.

You’ll influence product teams, build with our own GCP infrastructure, and lead by example with hands-on automation, IaC, and robust monitoring using Datadog.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Expertise in Cloud Networking & Kubernetes on major cloud providers.
• Strong Go or Python programming for automation and tooling.
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code for repeatable cloud resources.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate highly available systems with 24/7 reliability.
• Optimize the Edge API Gateway for performance and reliability.
• Scale the Mollie Cloud Platform with IaC automation.
• Collaborate across engineering to maintain SLOs/SLAs.
• Drive observability and monitoring with Datadog.
