Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a GKE / GDC Edge Engineer to support our L400 Advanced Development capability, delivering secure Google Cloud capabilities to connected, edge, and disconnected mission environments for federal and DoD customers.

You will design clusters, implement GKE/GDC solutions, and mentor teammates while supporting RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities. Hybrid or remote with travel to customer sites in the DC area is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software, cloud, data, cybersecurity, systems, or AI engineering experience.
• 3+ years of advanced hands-on experience in production or regulated environments.
• Deep experience with GKE, Google Distributed Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, supply-chain security, networking, SRE, and federal controls.

Responsibilities

• Design clusters/fleets, identity, networking, policy, observability, artifact promotion, upgrades, DR, and air-gapped operations.
• Implement solutions using GKE, Google Distributed Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, and supply-chain security.
• Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards.
• Support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities.
