Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to develop the growth strategy for interconnect capacity in key locations and to shape both business partnerships and technical approaches to improve resiliency, scalability, and cost for customers.

You will review data center architectures and network designs, delivering action plans to address short-term constraints and to enable long-term growth across the global infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software) best practices and emerging technologies.
  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
  • Experience with various infrastructure build scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Setting the future strategies and roadmap for the team across new products.
  • Identifying priority locations to re-architect existing infrastructure approaches.
  • Managing cross-functional input to inform potential partnerships and build solutions.
  • Developing plans of record for scaling and growing infrastructure in different metro areas.
  • Setting schedules for infrastructure migrations and re-designs.
  • Working with external customers to identify requirements and prospective partnerships to enable new infrastructure launches.
  • Improving cost structures for preferred infrastructure architecture.
