Qualifications

• Education and/or experience – High School degree or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Math – basic arithmetic; knowledge of standard/imperial measurements; metric a plus.
• Understanding and use of measuring instruments required: micrometers, digital calipers, tape measure.

Responsabilités

• Check work orders and select material attributes (weight, alloy, size, quality).
• Operate an edging machine and set up edger tooling.
• Inspect material during processing to ensure quality.
• Identify edging tools and run material per specifications.
• Ensure material is free of burrs, scratches, and within camber specs.
• Document edged material and group by work order.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and assist with minor repairs.
