You’ll collaborate with payment and software teams to ensure fast, reliable local processing, offline fallbacks, and robust CI/CD for hardware labs and edge setups.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building desktop UIs with Flutter on Linux.
• Deep Linux (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL) familiarity and peripheral communication.
• Backend microservices in Golang or Java (Spring Boot) for edge environments.
• Docker, local Kubernetes (K3s/MicroK8s) and edge deployments.
• Design and consume lightweight RESTful APIs, gRPC, or event-driven streaming.

Responsibilities

• Frontend Terminal Engineering: build high-performance desktop UIs for checkout registers and terminals.
• Legacy decoupling: rewrite legacy C++ in Go/Java and Flutter UIs.
• Edge integration: connect UIs with store-edge hardware like scanners and printers.
• Microservice bridging: link UIs to edge microservices with containerized infra.
• QA pipelines: drive automated testing and release validation with hardware labs.
