Job summary

RoadSync is hiring a senior frontend engineer to lead the technical direction of our React-based web platform and Flutter mobile apps in the logistics and payments space.

You will design scalable frontend features, establish a reusable Storybook component library, and drive modernization of the codebase with TypeScript and current best practices while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in professional front-end development with 4+ years in a front-end/back-end discipline.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and setting direction for front-end apps.
• Strong React patterns knowledge and state management tools (Redux, Zustand, etc.).
• Experience building component libraries and design systems in Storybook.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot) and workflow integration.
• Mentor engineers via code reviews, pair programming, and guidance.
• Familiarity with modern build tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with APIs using Go, Python, or similar; relational DBs; serverless AWS.
• Delivers clean, testable code and optimizes frontend performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and architecture of React web and Flutter mobile apps.
• Design and build scalable front-end features for SaaS platform including payments and carrier tools.
• Evolve the component library in Storybook with reusable, stateless components.
• Drive modernization: migrate legacy code to TypeScript and modern React patterns.
• Leverage Claude Code and AI-assisted workflows throughout development lifecycle.
• Mentoring via code reviews, pair programming, and best-practice sharing.
• Establish testing standards: unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage.
• Collaborate with product/design/backend to translate requirements into solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to maintain velocity and delivery predictability.
• Make key technical decisions shaping front-end tooling and architecture.
