Job summary

Cologix is seeking a Datacenter Technician to support daily operations and maintenance of our data center. You will perform installation, acceptance, and maintenance of telecommunication equipment, including cabinets, cross-connects, and related cabling, ensuring high reliability and adherence to standards.

Key qualifications include hands-on copper and fiber media experience, familiarity with test equipment, and the ability to read layouts and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; relevant certifications preferred.
• 2–3 years in similar critical facilities.
• Fiber splicing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and test copper and fiber cabling.
• Maintain cabinets, cross-connects, and racks.
• Troubleshoot telecom equipment and network circuits.
• Perform remote hands tasks and vendor maintenance.
• Document site changes and capacity.
