Job summary

NextEdge seeks a Data Center Business Development Director to shape strategy and drive revenue growth around edge data centers, distributed infrastructure, and regional capacity.

You will build executive relationships, identify opportunities, and translate complex infrastructure needs into profitable, scalable solutions across power, connectivity, cooling, and sustainability. The role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and requires deep market insight and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into edge data centers, utilities, and enterprise customers.
• Strong ability to translate complex infra needs into customer outcomes.
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles with internal and external partners.
• Proven track record in ROI, pricing strategy, and deal execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development strategy for edge data centers and regional infrastructure.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close opportunities with operators, carriers, and utilities.
• Conduct consultative customer discovery to uncover capacity, power, resiliency, and timing.
• Build executive relationships with customers, engineers, and sponsors.
• Develop territory and pursuit strategies aligned to edge growth and capacity needs.
• Shape proposals, pricing, and contract terms with cross-functional teams.
