Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced network engineer to support enterprise connectivity across office LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud interconnects. The role requires troubleshooting of routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configurations, with on-call and governance obligations.

The position is on-site and located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, offering collaboration with connectivity engineers and ongoing infrastructure improvements, documentation, and 24/7 readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS/engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering or enterprise infrastructure support.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN, office networking, and wireless environments.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, WAN, VPNs, and firewall administration.
• Experience with change and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise LAN/WAN, branch connectivity, and wireless environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents across routing, switching, VPN, and firewalls.
• Implement changes to switches, routers, firewalls, SD-WAN, and cloud network components.
• Assist with cloud connectivity between private/public cloud services.
• Provide documentation and guidance; participate in on-call and governance.
