Job summary

HDR is seeking a Network Engineer to independently support enterprise connectivity services across office LAN/WAN, branch networks, wireless, and cloud-integrated environments. You will troubleshoot complex network incidents and implement changes to switches, routers, firewalls, SD-WAN, and cloud components.

The role requires 3+ years in network engineering or enterprise infrastructure, with strong routing, switching, VPN, and firewall experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
3+ years in network engineering, connectivity operations, or enterprise infrastructure support.
Experience with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall administration.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Support enterprise LAN/WAN connectivity, wireless, firewall operations, and cloud-edge networks.
Troubleshoot complex network incidents across routing, VPN, wireless, and firewall policies.
Implement changes to switches, routers, firewalls, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud networking.
Support interconnectivity between offices, private and public clouds.
Assist with VNets/VPCs routing, private connectivity, and cloud security controls.
Participate in hardware refresh, upgrades, circuit migrations, and wireless improvements.
Ensure changes comply with governance and security standards.
Create and maintain network diagrams, standards, and procedures.
Provide guidance to Connectivity Engineer I team.
Participate in on-call support and readiness activities.
