Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a security-focused engineer to join the ADC System Security Engineering team. You will build and operate security services used across AWS, ensuring they are scalable and reliable for our customers.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility, a strong engineering mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric cloud environment. Arlington, VA on-site preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Cloud+ / GICSP / GSEC / SSCP or equivalent.
• 3+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
• 2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP).
• Current, active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain security services used internally to support the US intelligence community.
• Mentor other Systems and Systems Development Engineers in their career growth.
• Work backwards from the customer to ensure our services meet end-user needs.
