Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related ABET-accredited program.
• Ability to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtain the EIT designation within 12 months.
• Knowledge of highway construction principles.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in field inspections and documents project activities.
• Develops roadway designs and supports construction projects.
• Covers environmental, maintenance, materials, planning and right of way tasks as needed.
• Contributes to traffic engineering and operations analyses and safety considerations.
