Cloudflare is seeking a Capacity Engineer for the Demand Planning team in Austin, TX. You will own regional planning end-to-end, build and maintain models, and collaborate with hardware sourcing and infrastructure teams to translate forecasts into deployment plans.

You will work with AI tooling like OpenCode AI and MAS agents, and grow toward autonomous, scalable capacity systems while communicating forecasts to finance and network engineers.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years in analytical, planning, or technical infrastructure roles.
• Strong SQL proficiency and data querying.
• Python for data analysis, scripting and automation.
• Ability to translate data into capacity recommendations.
• Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical partners.
• Demonstrated ability to own a workstream end-to-end with light supervision.

Aufgaben

• Own one or more edge planning regions end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Maintain and improve regional planning models with new traffic patterns and infrastructure changes.
• Build data pipelines feeding regional planning using BigQuery, Python, and Jupyter notebooks.
• Translate forecasts into actionable deployment plans with hardware sourcing and infra teams.
• Identify capacity risks in your region and surface them early.
• Use OpenCode AI and MAS agent tools as part of daily planning workflow.
• Contribute to cross-regional consistency with shared methodology and standards.
• Present forecast outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
