Job summary

DMA Millwork is seeking an experienced Edge bander operator to join our Atlanta, GA area manufacturing team. The role requires ensuring quality, safety, and efficient machine setup for banding operations.

In-person work schedule is Monday–Friday with potential Saturdays as needed, in a full-time capacity. Responsibilities include maintaining safe operations, checking parts for defects, maintaining the machine, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Edge bander operator with 2 years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine safely and ensure safety devices are functioning daily.
• Check quality of parts and ensure defect-free products before passing to next work center.
• Maintain machine and work area; perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Set up machine according to work order/spec sheet and ensure proper feed rate and pressure.
• Coordinate with material mover and other areas; participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
