Job summary

Meta’s Edge & Network Services (ENS) team seeks a Network Infrastructure Design Engineer to design scalable ICT infrastructure for data centers and POPs. You will develop space, power, cooling, and connectivity layouts, and drive execution in collaboration with planning, deployment, and sourcing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Must be completed prior to joining Meta.
• 5+ years of work experience designing and constructing large-scale data centers or similar mission-critical infrastructure, including space, power, cooling, and cabling requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in project planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects.
• Experience interpreting electrical/mechanical single-line diagrams and understanding regional data center electrical/cooling configurations.

Responsibilities

• Designs, reviews, and optimizes ICT physical infrastructure for large-scale data centers and network deployments.
• Develops and enforces Meta ICT design standards and industry compliance (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, BICSI).
• Delivers engineering design packages for sourcing and capacity planning teams.
• Leads site acceptance activities with colocation vendors and reports progress.
