Qualifications

• 8-10+ years designing and deploying large-scale data center networks.
• Structured cabling and fiber optic expertise with design/installation best practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional data center projects.
• Knowledge of data center design, construction, and start-up/commissioning processes.
• Experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, and optical transport.
• Knowledge of IP + Optical network hardware platforms.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support data center construction and network deployment across greenfield, colocation, and retrofits.
• Collaborate with design, connectivity, and engineering teams to produce design packages.
• Serve as SME for physical infrastructure and building management system networks.
• Align fiber infrastructure management tools with design intent and changes.
• Perform network bootstrapping to reflect hardware and circuits in internal tools.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, standardization, and delivery speed.
• Conduct site visits with construction teams to validate cabling per Meta standards.
• Influence future data center and network designs for scalability.
• Maintain technical docs and training materials.
• Develop automation/tools to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee vendor field teams and manage construction milestones.
• Travel 25% to 40% depending on project demand.
