Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software engineering experience or a BS/MS with equivalent building experience.
• Demonstrated evidence of building complex software systems and solving hard problems.
• Strong Linux and systems fundamentals with debugging skills (gdb, perf, strace).
• Proficiency in C++ or Rust is required.
• Ability to debug large interconnected systems methodically.
• Clear written communication in design docs, tickets and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and build native services in C++/Rust across Linux, Android, and QNX targets.
• Work on the telemetry platform: signal collection, metrics, diagnostics, and fleet reporting tooling.
• Improve the vehicle data upload path for throughput, reliability, and cost at scale.
• Deploy and optimize ML models on the vehicle's NPU with latency/accuracy targets.
• Instrument and debug code in the field; use data to fix issues on real vehicles.
• Benchmark, soak test, and defend performance budgets to prevent regressions.
