Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a senior leader to own the End Market strategy for Edge and AI Compute, including MCU, MPU/NPU, FPGA and embedded vision. You will translate customer needs into technology requirements and build market models to guide product plans.

You will partner with Sales, Product Management, Tech Development, and BI to drive funnel growth, design wins, and revenue. A strong track record in semiconductor marketing and executive communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• 8+ years in semiconductor product management or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of MCU/MPU/FPGA/edge AI markets.
• Ability to map applications to platform choices (power, performance, memory, RF).
• Experience building market models, opportunity maps, and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Own the End Market strategy for Edge and AI Compute products.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements including cost and security.
• Develop market collateral and executive-ready materials (Why GF, roadmaps).
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Tech Development, and BI to drive funnel growth and design wins.
• Position GF early in customer roadmaps and monitor industry trends.
