Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join Eastside General Dentistry. You will support the clinical treatment care of patients, take and develop X-rays, manage supplies, and help maintain the dentist's schedule in a Heartland-supported office.

You will work to keep patients comfortable, educate them on procedures, and adhere to OSHA and safety policies while participating in ongoing education and skill development.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology is required.
• Great patient care, organization, and ability to learn new programs.
• Willingness to travel for training once every other month; overnight stays possible.

Responsibilities

• Take and record medical and dental histories and patient vitals.
• Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper sterilization and OSHA compliance.
• Participate in continuing education and training opportunities offered by Heartland Dental.
