Blossom Park Dental Care, supported by Heartland, is hiring an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support clinical treatment, manage supplies, and help maintain the dentist’s schedule.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, clear communication, and a proactive approach to learning through Heartland’s training programs, with opportunities for advancement within the network of locations.

Qualifications

• As Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you must have a positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, excellent patient care skills and strong organizational skills.
• Additional requirements include: superior knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, ability to build rapport with patients, good manual dexterity, computer proficiency, ability to travel for training, and prior dental practice experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Assisting the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Improving your clinical skills through continuing education and training opportunities offered by Heartland Dental.
