Four Lakes Family Dental is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. You will support the clinical treatment of patients, take and develop X-rays, manage supplies and keep the dentist’s schedule on track.

This Heartland Dental supported office emphasizes continuous learning, patient comfort and safety. The ideal candidate has a positive, outgoing personality, strong communication, good manual dexterity and a willingness to travel for training.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with strong communication.
• Excellent patient care and organizational skills.
• Superior knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to travel for training every other month.
• Dental assisting certificate preferred.
• Experience in a dental practice a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take and record medical and dental histories; monitor vital signs.
• Assist the dentist in dental emergencies and routine procedures.
• Pursue continuing education to improve clinical skills.
