Job summary

Spring Street Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of dental assisting experience, strong four-handed dentistry skills, and a proactive, patient-focused approach in a collaborative environment.

The role offers a full-time schedule with morning hours and opportunities to work with advanced technology and procedures in a supportive, team-oriented practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of dental assistant experience.
• Strong four-handed dentistry skills.
• Proven leadership qualities and ability to take initiative.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to anticipate provider and patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take and develop X-rays and provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients.
• Organize and maintain lab equipment.
• Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Improve clinical skills and learning through continuing education and Heartland Dental training (as part of EDDA role).
• Support the clinical treatment care of patients and manage supplies to sustain the dentist’s schedule.
