Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a uEHR Implementation Team member to support the ASAP Emergency Department. The role focuses on designing, configuring, and supporting application solutions to improve ED workflows, data integrity, and system usability, with emphasis on ADT/patient movement and charging.

The position requires strong knowledge of information systems, informatics, and project coordination, plus the ability to translate business needs into solid technical designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred; equivalent combination of education and 4 years of technical application experience may be considered.
• 3+ years in information systems, application support, or related field preferred; 2+ years of project management preferred.
• Experience with application support, workflow analysis, and system configuration.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and implements solutions within assigned applications, aligning with operational and technical requirements.
• Educates others on system relationships, workflows, and operational impacts.
• Reviews and refines configurations and designs for quality and effectiveness.
• Performs gap analysis and recommends workflow improvements.
• Communicates design and configuration concepts clearly to end users and stakeholders.
• Maintains working knowledge of other applications used in the area of support.
• Translates requirements for solution design and technical needs.
• Facilitates and participates in testing, QA, and issue validation.
• Develops and delivers end-user training and support system adoption.
