Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks an ED Technician for RWJ Hamilton Hospital to support the Emergency Department. The role is part-time, day shift, hourly wage between $21.04 and $26.19, located at One Hamilton Health Place, Hamilton, NJ 08619.

The ED Technician will assist patients with daily living activities, participate in phlebotomy and EKGs, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safe, quality care from admission to discharge. A high school diploma and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Previous nursing assistant experience or CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Provide patient care based on age-appropriate criteria and safety standards.
• Communicate with patients and nursing staff about patient status.
• Collaborate on plan of care from admission to discharge for safe transitions.
