RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated ED Technician for Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, NJ. The role supports nurses and physicians, delivers direct patient care, and participates in procedures to ensure safe, timely outcomes.

Evening shift, 36 hours per week, with a 11:00 am to 11:30 pm schedule; requires high school diploma or GED and BLS certification; hospital experience and patient-care program grad preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Graduate of a Patient Care program preferred.

Responsibilities

• The ED Technician is a direct patient caregiver who provides nursing care to patients as ordered, and assists physicians and nursing staff with procedures.
• Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service
• Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions
• Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated ED Technician for Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.

Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus is a fully accredited acute care hospital dedicated to providing the finest medical and health care services to the residents of Ocean and Monmouth counties. An affiliate of the RWJBarnabas Health system, Monmouth South is a sister hospital to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.

Monmouth South is the only hospital in the region to provide private rooms on all of its inpatient units, providing an environment more conducive to healing.
