Job summary

St. Vincent Health in Leadville, CO seeks an Emergency Department Technician to provide direct patient care in a critical access ED. You will assist with ADLs, maintain patient safety, support clinical procedures, and engage patients during care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in high-pressure hospital settings is preferred.
• EMT-Basic certification and BLS are required.
• IV certification is required.
• Completion of an accredited EMT-Basic program is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical access ED setting.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and ensure safety.
• Support clinical procedures and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document interactions and observations accurately in patient records.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
