Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) to support patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living and help keep the ED clean and safe while performing approved procedures.

Applicants should read and communicate effectively in English, have basic computer knowledge, and hold a Wisconsin EMT-Basic license with current BLS.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills are required.
• Ability to work under supervision and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care in the Emergency Department under RN supervision.
• Provide supportive care and perform approved procedures per policy.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and help maintain a safe, clean environment.
