Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an ED Tech (per diem) to assist in the emergency department under RN supervision. The role focuses on patient comfort and safety and supports the care team in delivering prompt emergency care.

Qualified candidates include CNAs, nursing students with clinical rotation, EMTs or others with ER experience. Per diem position based at Winchester Hospital in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Required: Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience.
• Preferred: High school diploma/equivalent, Emergency patient care experience, EKG experience, Phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ED and provide emergency care under supervision.
• Contribute to patient comfort and safety in emergency care settings.
• Work within a collaborative team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
