Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an Urgent Care Tech for our busy Urgent Care team in Woburn/Winchester, MA. This full-time day-shift role works under a registered nurse to provide emergency care and help ensure a safe, comfortable patient experience.

You will perform procedures under supervision, support patient flow, and contribute to fast, quality outcomes for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent healthcare education required.
• One year of clinical care experience or EMT/ER exposure.
• Preferred: EKG and phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist under RN supervision to deliver emergency care.
• Perform procedures for patient comfort and safety.

Our Woburn location provides urgent care to all patient populations with a variety of medical conditions.Working under the direction of a registered nurse, this position contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by performing procedures to provide emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the patient’s experience by facilitating optimal outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach to patient care in the emergency care setting.QUALIFICATIONS:**Education/Experience****Required:**Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience**Preferred:**· High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred· Emergency patient care experience· EKG experience· Phlebotomy experience**Other Skills/Knowledge:****Preferred:**· Basic computer skills· Crisis Prevention/InterventionLICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:**Preferred:** Nursing Assistant, EMT, Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomist certificationSchedule: Four – 8hr shifts including weekend and holiday rotation**Pay Range:**$19.50 – $26.24The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
