Job summary

Mast Landing School in RSU5 Durham-Freeport-Pownal is seeking an Educational Technician (Ed Tech III) to support students in grades 3-5 within the Functional Life Skills program. You will work with special education staff to assist with academic tasks, communication, social-emotional development, and daily living skills in individual and small-group settings.

The ideal candidate is patient, collaborative, and committed to helping students reach independence.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid 023-Ed Tech III Certification from the ME Dept. of Education.
• Experience supporting students in grades 3-5 within a Functional Life Skills program.
• Ability to implement IEP goals and support behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic tasks and daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene needs as assigned.
• Facilitate communication and social interactions among students.
• Help students access instruction and routines across settings.
