Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic tasks in grades 3-5 within the Functional Life Skills program.
• Assist with personal care, feeding, toileting, and hygiene as needed.
• Implement IEP goals and behavior plans under supervision of special education staff.
• Facilitate communication and social interactions; support daily routines across settings.

Mast Landing School

Mast Landing School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Technician to support students in grades 3-5 within our Functional Life Skills program. This role involves working closely with special education staff to support students with academic tasks, communication, social-emotional development, behavioral regulation, and daily living skills in both individual and small group settings.

The ideal candidate is patient, flexible, collaborative, and passionate about helping students build independence and reach their fullest potential. Responsibilities may include implementing IEP goals, supporting positive behavior plans assisting with personal care, needs, facilitating communication and social interactions, and helping students access instruction and school routines across settings.

Pay for this position is based on the CEA Collective Bargaining Agreement Appendix B and ranges from $25.66 to $28.91 hourly, depending on experience. This position will also receive a $1.50/hour differential due to the regular assignment of responsibilities that include feeding, toileting, personal care/hygiene, and/or the physical restraint of students.
