Job summary

The Emergency Department Technician II at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) reports to the Nurse Manager and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide multi-skilled patient care in a fast-paced ED setting.

You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and leading other staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes with a focus on safety, privacy, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 2 weeks of hire and maintained.
• Ability to perform physically demanding nursing tasks and support ED operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process under RN supervision.
